FastenersClearingHouse.com Provides Service to MWFA Members

MWFA members are now entitled to access the FCH Sourcing Network using a special new access level under an arrangement between MWFA and FastenersClearingHouse.com, a MWFA member company. Once logged into the web-based network, MWFA members have an exclusive search option available that allows them to search and source fastener inventory giving preference to fellow MWFA members. This provides benefits to sellers and buyers alike, and it adds value to MWFA membership by creating another way members can work together within the association. The newly created access level is being provided at no charge to MWFA members.

The FCH database currently contains over 500,000 line items from distributors across North America and it supports distributor-only sourcing, as well as access to anyone with a computer and a connection to the Internet. See the website FCH for details. MWFA members are not required to list inventory with FCH to take advantage of the new offering.

"We're glad to be able to offer this service to the association," says FCH managing partner Brian Musker. "We think it adds value to MWFA membership, and we hope it will strengthen our network as well."

MWFA members who are already FCH members will receive an automatic upgrade by the end of Q1. MWFA members who are not already FCH members should send an email to support-fch@fastenersclearinghouse.com to receive set up instructions for their complimentary MWFA Access Level FCH membership.
