MACHESNEY PARK, IL -- Field Fastener announces the purchase of Rockford International’s (RI) OEM business from Rockford Products Corporation. The business will remain in the Rockford area utilizing the current facility in the short term and moving into Field’s Machesney Park warehouse within a year. Field is a rapidly growing, ISO 9001:2000 registered fastener distributor specializing in inventory management and providing technical support to its customer base. Field’s importing capability and technical competence make it an excellent fit with the needs of the RI customers. The Field Team plans to enhance the product and service offerings to the Rockford International customer base.

The International Group is the smaller of two Rockford Products segments and distributes mostly third-party overseas parts to both automakers and aftermarket auto parts suppliers. The larger Cold Formed Products Division locally manufacturers the ball studs and other auto parts that the company is known for.
