St. Louis, Missouri – July 30, 2010. EFC International is excited to announce the hiring of Kelly Smejkal as Sales Engineer for the states of Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota.

Kelly brings over 20 years of industrial sales experience in the fields of welding, machining, milling and air compressor systems to EFC. Kelly has spent most of his sales experience in the Iowa market and has spent much of his time working with engineers, management, procurement and production teams.

ArmaCoil manufacturer of wire thread inserts, newly established by UK manufacturer Armstrong Precision Components, has been in production for over 50 years. Previously these inserts were manufactured red under license from an established US producer. Armacoil inserts are now manufactured to the same high quality and performance standards and available to fastener distributors.

At the September NFDA meeting held in Chicago, IL, Don Westby of Westby Production Components, Inc. announced that he will be retiring from day-to-day operations of his company. He introduced Dave Schmitting, current Sales Manager of Westby Production Components, who will be assuming the position of General Manager effective October 1, 2009.

John joined Cardinal in December of 2008 as Lean Manufacturing Manager.
